Close to the end of last winter I went digging in the giant bin in my basement that houses all of my old skating dresses. It was one of those moments that I wasn't sure what I was looking for, but was hoping to find hidden gem. There is something you need to know about me... and well I guess my mom too, as my skating dress seamstress, my mother was the queen of velvet. The number of soft velvet skating dresses I had was so high; I couldn't even estimate how many I had. Anyways, last winter, I pulled out a couple of velvet body suits, thinking that I might want to wear them someday. Well, that day has come. After seeing Emma Watson and Malin Akerman wearing beautiful velvet dresses this week, I'm inspired to figure out how I am going to wear my velvet bodysuits!
