You may be just starting to pull out your wool sweaters and heavy jackets, but it is already time to start thinking about what we are going to be wearing this spring and summer. LG Fashion Week SS11 is underway and I took in the OR by Angela Chen show this afternoon. I left wishing I was taking off for a beach vacation, the fabrics were light, the colours were soft and the pieces were soft and feminine with a lot of asymmetrical shapes. I may have pushed aside the summer months but Angela Chen had me day dreaming of the warmer months and of sun and sand.
As soon as this look started down the runway, I fell in love with these pants. I can't wait to get my hands on a pair this spring!
Glad to see loose layers will be sticking around through until next spring and summer!
The maxi dress is making it's return!
I fell in love with crochet towards the end of the summer and was excited to see a different and more formal use of crochet in the overlay of this dress.
This dress was by far the best piece in the show. It's the perfect summer dress, it is light, lose and elegant. Based on what I've seen so far, I am sure we'll be seeing a lot of beautiful flowing maxi dresses this summer.
